Clubbin'

I don't like it. I'm too old for it. Drunk people continuously bump into me, and I feel invisible. For some reason, I agreed to go to one last night. It was exactly as I remembered it. I headed for the door after an hour of standing in 3 inch heels, getting knocked from side to side by drunk people. I would go more often if there was more seating!

RM and I are still hanging out occasionally, but with our schedules there is no time for too much quality time. Otherwise, there has been no dating to speak of.

I've decided to live my life for me, and if he comes along, he comes along. Oh, I do have a tentative meeting planned for Tuesday night with a guy from an online dating site. We'll see how that goes!

Did I tell you guys that young coworker got engaged. I don't understand it, but hey, maybe he's happier than he appears to be with her.

welcome back! glad to see you're blogging again. i've come to the same conclusions - i'm going to live life for me. i'm not online dating anymore and similarly decided that if he comes along, he comes along. april is dedicated to me - getting myself back in shape, selling my condo, etc. whoo!

Men are crazy.

I'm happy to hear you're focusing on yourself. I feel like a major part of the reason why I have good luck with men is that I focus on myself and have excellent self-confidence because of it.

I apparently haven't grown up yet as I still love, love, love clubbin' at 46. hehe...good for you hon. Focusing on yourself is exactly the right thing to do. I've found it the perfect way to live my life.

Clubbing definitely has a different feel now. I prefer local bar/hole-in-the-wall places....where slightly more normal people go.

Good luck on Tuesday!

Welcome back!!!

I hate clubs too. Sweaty people rubbing up against me, my feet hurting from ridonkulous shoes, not being able to hear anyone, etc.
